This was my 2nd time returning to Anglers Inn and yet again it did not disappoint! Food and service was as great as it was on our 1st trip. As far as the fishing....that was even better! During our stay my buddy and I caught over 200 bass with very few of them being under 2lbs. My biggest was a 9 1/2 lb hog caught on a deep running crankbait worked extremely fast near wooden structure. The picture is attached. Other lures used with a lot of success were a Booyah Buzzbait and top water popper. Speaking of top water, it was fantastic during one of our morning outings. 48 bass were landed in less than an hour with many of them in the 3-5lb range. We look forward to returning in 2009!
