Thanks for the opportunity to share with you our fishing success during our recent visit May 29-June 2, 2008. 

We experienced 3-1/2 days of fishing which by far was my best trip to El Salto.  We caught over 275 fish in the 3-1/2 day period with 1 day, catching between the 2 of us, over 100.

Our fish ranged from a few small ones to most between 3-5 lb. and many 6 to 6-1/2 lb fish.

We used 8" & 10" watermelon and watermelon red flake lizards, crank bait deep divers and storm swim baits 4" & 5", shad color, but had good success with most any color.

I have fished for bass many places, but by far the most satisfying and successful trip has been through Anglers Inn at El Salto.

After my 4th visit, and Bob's first, we are already looking forward to returning, not only for the fishing experience, but also the excellent service by a staff whose only goal is to satisfy you with great food and a very welcome atmosphere.
