I was indeed fortunate to take a trip to Lake Mateos several weeks ago.  I went, along with Tony and Javier, for a day.  I am not even sure where to start.  Lake Mateos is magnificent.  It is twice the size of El Salto and is nestled in the mountains.  I was particularly struck by the number of islands in the lake and the clarity of the water.  It was truly a wonderful landscape/lakescape to behold.  The mountains in the background the sparkling waters of the lake. 

We fished for several hours and all of the fish were caught on spinner baits, just as I was informed.  Other lures worked but the spinner bait bite was the major lure.  The lake has many, many coves and inlets. The river and the lodge site is the perfect setting.  When finished I cannot imagine a more perfect lodge site.  Another first for Billy Chapman, Jr. and company.

I am convinced that all customers, old and new, of Anglers Inn will be dazzled by the new lodge and will undoubtedly want to make reservations.  I simply cannot wait to go again and have the opportunity to spend more time fishing and exploring Lake Mateos. 

I simply cannot imagine a more inspiring and vivid site than Mateos when the sun rises.  With the new staff at the lake and the convenience, it will be a real winner.

Talking with some of the others who have already fished the lake, 100 fish days are fairly common.  The biggest fish we caught was 6+ lbs. However, I am aware of others who have caught fish up to 10 lbs.

I have been fishing with Anglers Inn since 1990 and made over 35 trips to Lake El Salto.  During that time I have had the opportunity to meet numerous customers and the one thing they always comment on is the level of service.  I know, without any reservation, that this new Anglers Inn’s Paradise will offer the same level of service and that no one will ever be disappointed. 

Without question and unequivocally, I recommend this new adventure for a trip of a lifetime.  I know that I will spending many, many more days on Lake Mateos.  My only problem will be how to divide my time between Lake Mateos and Lake El Salto.  Alas, I guess I will just have to make reservations for both these marvelous locations.

I SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
