My son tracy and myself had a great time at your lodge on our first trip to lake el salto. The service and food was great, your staff did a great job of keeping everyone happy. We caught lots of fish and lost our biggest at the boat which probably happens often. Our biggest was 8 ½lbs. but again bigger fish were lost at the boat between the excitement and netting. We used only 3 type of baits, one was a top water called a chug bug with chrome and black back also chrome with blue back. 10” zoom power worms, black with red flakes, and blue flakes, and june bug. The last was the storm wildeye swim shad pearl with chartreuse top and the tiger color. After looking at our pictures and movies, we have friends that want to with us on our next trip. I got lazy with the ride to the waters edge, and I was impressed when you met us at the boat at the end of each fishing outing to find out how the fishing was. Hope to be back soon.
